Africa is considered one of the far-flung regions of the world. But in the last 100 hundred years, there is a generation turning to God for inspiration. Never in the history of the continent has faith played such a unique role.

Traditional African families turn to early morning prayers to open their day. Parents and children share in these meetings. It is in such times words of wisdom are shared.

In a continent in need of enduring change, traditional Christian worship is changing the way everyday people see themselves. It is credited with helping modern generation of Africans develop self-esteem and optimism.

In Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, it helps explain why even in times of harsh economic stress the general mood hints of a prosperous future.

Rebuilding the community begins at home.
